Initial educational requirements are based upon the Department of Transportation Curriculum for EMTs. You must have completed an accredited EMT course prior to requesting a testing date.

You must have a current West Virginia EMT Certification Card before you can legally practice as an EMT. Again this can only be filled out and submitted once you have passed the NREMT exam.
