The Mission of the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and Trauma System is to protect the safety and health of people utilizing the EMS system in Arizona. The BEMS is committed to improving the Arizona EMS system as well as educating the public with regard to safety and injury prevention.

Being an EMT in Arizona requires that you take and pass an approved training course along with submitting the proper certification documents AND passing the National Registry (NREMT) Exam. According to the information provided Arizona accepts EMT, AEM, I-99 and Paramedic level candidates who have NREMT Certification. To be NREMT Certified, a candidate must pass the National Registry Exam for that level.

A solid resource for NREMT prep is the practice exam subscription that you can purchase from EMT-National-Training. The testing application comes with thousands of detailed EMS questions with Paramedic and EMT support for any questions that you may have. All questions have been updated with the new AHA protocols.
