Wyoming requires that all EMS personnel be certified through a process overseen by the state. You can download the EMT Certification Application here. This certification permits you to practice pre-hospital emergency skills with an associated ambulance service in Wyoming.

In order for it to be accepted you must successfully complete a state accredited EMT training course that follows the 1994 EMT B National Standard Curriculum. Here is a list of Wyoming EMT classes that have been accredited.

You must then pass You may submit the application with photocopy of your course certificate of completion, a photocopy of your current CPR credentials and a copy of any other certification you may have such as the NREMT or from another state. Once this application is accepted you will be approved to take the Wyoming State EMT-Basic Examination. You can do this by contacting the Office of EMS below.

The state also says that for EMT-B, the National Registry test is used as the final course exam.
