Arkansas EMS and Trauma Systems is the agency that regulates and enforces all rules associated with Emergency Medical Care and Transport of Arkansas' sick and injured. They are responsible for licenses, reviewing course and curriculum materials, complaint investigations as well as technical assistance to hospitals, EMT candidates and others interested in the emergency care system in Arkansas.

Arkansas accepts the NREMT (National Registry) Exam as proof that the EMT candidate has the appropriate levels of knowledge with regard to emergency medicine. All EMT candidates are also required to pass a practical skills examination and evaluation that is specific to Arkansas. These are hands on demonstrative exams that will test your ability to perform the necessary skills associated with being an EMT or Paramedic.

Study for the NREMT exam using the practice EMT and Paramedic examinations that are available by subscription here on this site. You can access the exams from any computer with a connection to the web so you can practice anywhere you need to.
