I am having a hard time studying for this test. I have been out of touch with this stuff for about a year and now I need my EMT - B for a job. I keep failing these test its very disappointing.

The information is in your head somewhere. Keep taking the tests and reading the rationales. If you see something you don't remember anything about, get your books out and look it up. The good thing about the practice exams is that the categorized testing lets you know where you are in each category. When you answer a question incorrectly, it will come up on a subsequent test to make sure you answer it correctly. This is why the rationales are so important in the process. Your understanding of why your answer is correct or incorrect is so important in helping you understand concepts. If you have not done so, you need to read "NREMT test". It is an article located on our homepage on the right hand side below the login text boxes. Good luck. You can do this.

Sorry your not doing well. National Registry makes money with these tests. Of coarse it's gonna be hard. How many watts are in a hand held radio? Come on ! You cant be for real registry people? I dont need to know everything about a lexus to drive it? Do I?
