Here's the question
Your patient is an 8 year old girl who fell from a swing and hit her head. She has a pulse but is not breathing. Your CPR should include what?

Your Answer: Chest compressions and ventilations at a ratio of 30:2

Incorrect

Correct Answer is: Breaths at a rate of 12-20

Other answers: Breaths at a rate of 10-12 Breaths at a rate of 20-30
Rationale: AHA Guidelines specify that for all children, a rescue breath rate of 12-20 is to be used.

This question is asking about CPR not rescue breathing. And nothing in the question states that your with a partner thus if your alone 30:2. Never mind I just realized it says she has a pulse and is breathing. You wouldn't do CPR on this patient unless the pulse indicated otherwise.

Post these types of questions in the help desk and not the forum. You will get a professional response there. Our technical/professional team don't moderate the forums and so you won't get a reply to your questions here by our staff.
