I took NR written test today and passed thanks to this site. I took almost 1700 questions in a month in preperation of NR. I had 85 questions on NR in 45 minutes. So thanks again!!!!!

I know I'm REALLY late on this topic, but I just wanted to say how much I absolutely LOVED the Simulated Exams! I know it's not adaptive, but it was still a really great learning / teaching / training tool for me. I have NO doubt that thanks to this site, I managed to pass my I/85 exam on the first try.

I know that adaptive isn't in the works, but if I had any improvement to offer, it would be to make the simulated exam adaptive.

Never count your chickens before they hatch! We hope you ace the test and it looks like you know the material. Go in there and give it your best shot, but take your time and don't rush through the test. Simple mistakes from hurrying can sink you. GOOD LUCK!

We will be launching the new NREMT simulation examination features in the next couple days. This simulation delivers a timed, single question delivery exam with the exact same percentages of questions per category as the actual NREMT exam. Our simulation exam is NOT adaptive like the NREMT. It does not base each question delivered on the previous questions.

When you have completed the NREMT simulation exam you will be given links to your corrected exam with all possible answers and rationales. You will also have a link to a separate breakdown of how you did on each category (like the NREMT used to give you). This should help you see where you need improvement.

When we first launch the NREMT simulation exam we will have a link on your existing results, summary and create a test pages that will direct members to the new testing area with the new features. This testing area operates off a completely separate database so you will have access to two different testing areas..the old one and the new one. We would like members to start using the new testing area exclusively as soon as possible. We will continue to make both testing areas available to members for about 30 days so that old exams can still be viewed.

We know these additions to our application will be beneficial to our members in their pursuit of EMS certifications.

Travis

Hi,
You can access the simulated exam with a standard subscription to emt-national-training.com . When you subscribe to emt-national-training.com you can test in the regular categorized testing or in the simulated exams. Let us know if you have any questions. Good luck.

It means 1 of 2 things... you rock and you passed... or you get to take it again. You will know soon. Let us know how it turns out.

One observation about the CAT that the NREMT does; however you did on the last questions will indicate if you pass or fail the registry(unless you hit the max 250 questions). The reason for that is simple; since the CAT program stops once it determines your fate the last question you take when it stops you is the proverbial last straw. What I mean by that is if you are taking the test and you are one correct answer away from passing and you answer the next question, the program has no need to continue; likewise for failing. So if you are certain that you answered your last question correctly, then you passed and vice versa. One caveat to that is just because you think you are correct, it doesn't mean that you are just like if you think you missed the last one, it doesn't mean that you didn't put the right answer unknowingly. From a BLS standpoint it all comes down to think ABCs first. If those are addressed and resolved in the scenario, then move on. If airway, breathing, or circulation is compromised in any way, then likely that's your answer unless it's a safety question in which your safety and the safety of the team comes first, followed by bystanders and then the patients safety. if anyone else has thoughts or corrections feel free to chime in.
